ECF Announces 3 New Fellows for Fellowship Partners Program
07/01/09

May 25, 2009, New York, NY
The Episcopal Church Foundation is pleased to announce the 2009 recipients of its Fellowship Partners Program grants: Mr. Paul P. Clever, the Rev. Kathryn L. Reinhard, and the Rev. Edward E. Thompson.

ECF’s Fellowship Partners Program includes both academic and transformational ministry grants. With emphasis on the idea of partnership, Fellows are expected to share their knowledge, experience and best practices with the wider Church in practical ways. Anne Ditzler, ECF Senior Program Director noted, "Through disciplines of praying, preaching, teaching, serving, and learning, these Fellows are not only living out their own vocations, but creating ways for others to see, know, and follow Christ."

These new Fellows represent some of the breadth and depth of lay and ordained ministry in the Episcopal Church. They are pursuing diverse ministries and studies, yet all three are working to engage people and communities in thoughtful and tangible expressions of being the Church in the world.??"In addition to recognizing and supporting individuals who are engaged in ministry and studies with the potential to transform communities of faith and bring people together in the name of Christ," said Donald V. Romanik, President of the Episcopal Church Foundation, "the Fellowship Partners Program enables them to share their experiences, learning, and best practices with the wider Church, creating impacts that can empower people and congregations throughout the entire church to live out the Gospel."

Renewal Fellowships were awarded to the Rev. Devon Anderson, the Rev. Joseph Duggan, the Rev. Joseph Hyvenson Joseph, the Rev. Susan Richardson, the Rev. Stephanie Spellers, and the Rev. Daniel Vélez Rivera.
