Remembering Ken Quigley

The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) community is deeply saddened to share that after a lengthy battle with cancer, Ken Quigley passed away on October 23rd. Many of you will remember Ken’s kindness, wit and insight, in addition to his diligent efforts on behalf of ECF’s Endowment Management Program. In November of 2021, ECF’s Board of Directors presented Ken with the Henry Knox Sherrill Medal in recognition of his outstanding service to ECF and The Episcopal Church, from his publishing career at Morehouse to his tremendous work for ECF. This award is presented from time to time to Episcopalians who exemplify the traits of the medal’s namesake, the founder of ECF. These include energy, integrity, generosity, and wisdom.

Ken’s devotion to the people of Haiti was quite well known, especially for his ongoing efforts on behalf of the St. Vincent’s Center for Children with Disabilities and the Episcopal Diocese of Haiti, that continued until very recently.

Ken will be greatly missed by his wife, his family and many friends and colleagues. You may read his obituary and Celebration of Life service details here.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent's Center for Children with Disabilities in Haiti, 925 Hertzler Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 or www.stvincentshaiti.org
